Typically, when a user is logged into a device and walks away and comes back to it when the screen wakes up, it will assume the same user is using the same device.

This is a fair assumption if the device is only used by that user; however, if it is a shared device, you can set an option to have it log out after, say, 15 minutes (Logout delay) after screen lock. So then when the next user picks it up, there will be no logged-in user, and they will have to choose a user.

To enable this feature, follow these steps on your (parent) device:

1. Launch the ScreenCoach app and log in as a parent.

2. Go to "Settings" from the tab bar on the bottom of the screen.

3. Choose "Device List" from the following screen.

4. Choose and click on the device that is shared from the device list.

5. On the following screen, scroll and find the "Allow Auto Logout" slider.

6. Turn on the slider, if off, and set the desired "Logout delay."

Additionally, set a parent PIN to avoid kids getting into your ScreenCoach account. If not set, click here to learn how to create one!
